Participate In Our Monthly Webinars
The National Wildlife Refuge Association and our partner, Coalition of Refuge Friends and Advocates, host monthly webinars for Refuge Friends on a variety of topics ranging from advocacy to fundraising to community engagement. By participating in these webinars, you'll gain valuable knowledge and skills that can be applied to your local Refuge Friends group. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with other Refuge Friends groups and learn about their experiences and successes. Join A Local Refuge Friends Group
One of the best ways to get involved with the Refuge Friends community is to join a local Refuge Friends group. These groups are made up of dedicated volunteers who work to support their local wildlife refuge through fundraising, education, and volunteerism. By joining a local group, you'll have the opportunity to connect with other like-minded individuals, learn about your local national wildlife refuge, and make a difference in your community.
Volunteer At A National Wildlife Refuge
Another way to get involved with Refuge Friends is to volunteer at the national wildlife refuge in your community. Refuge Friends groups often organize volunteer events such as trail maintenance, invasive species removal, and wildlife surveys.
