All of us love our public lands, especially our national wildlife refuges. For many of us, refuges are places to seek solitude, to develop memories with friends and family and to enjoy the great outdoors. Whether you are a hunter, an angler, a birder, a hiker, a photographer, or a nature enthusiast, national wildlife refuges provide unique opportunities for us to pursue our passions and to share a special moment with nature – either alone, or with someone close to us.

With this shared common interest in mind, we need to collectively work together to advance the National Wildlife Refuge System and to ensure that future generations can experience the joy of America’s wildlife heritage.

For a number of years, the Refuge Association has compiled a comprehensive list of resources for Friends Groups members, advocates and supporters to rally their communities to support the National Wildlife Refuge System. Below we highlight a few of the resources that you should be aware of.
