The National Wildlife Refuge Association’s 2015 Annual Report is out!

We’re excited to share our latest annual report, which covers the many successes we had in our last fiscal year, July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2015.

2015 Annual Report CoverAmong the highlights:

  • President Obama boldly announced new wilderness protections for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and sent a formal recommendation to Congress to permanently protect this national treasure;
  • The Congressional Wildlife Refuge Caucus was revived in the House of Representatives, thanks to Reps. Mike Thompson, D-Calif., Rob Wittman, R-Va., Ron Kind, D-Wisc., and Frank LoBiondo, R-N.J.
  • We launched a new program, Meeting Mission, to support the Friends Movement, and began hosting workshops around the country to help Friends Groups strengthen their skills at advocacy, fundraising and nonprofit governance.

FY15 was a banner year for the Refuge Association, marking our 40th anniversary, but it was only made possible with the generous support of donors, so if you are one, THANK YOU! And if you aren’t yet a donor, please consider a gift today. A donation this year means you can receive a limited edition 40th anniversary photo book.
